The Broadview Hotel is a Wichita landmark and as we learned last night, an interesting and colorful part of Wichita's history. Thank you to Trisha (aka The Flapper) for last nights tour for the Thursday night bike bunch. It was both informative and entertaining.
Please support this grand old hotel in anyway you can whether it be purchasing a drink at the bar or a room for the night. We wish the Broadview good luck in it's future historic renovations.
I didn't get any decent photos last night but here's what I did take. If you have any photo's you'd like to share please send them to me.

The city says a license helps protect a bike if it’s lost or stolen, helps with identification if a rider is in an accident and provides money for new bike trails and maintenance.
And if a rider is caught without one of the yellow tags, they could be out more than the license itself costs. Instead of paying just $7.50, they would pay a $10 ticket plus $66 in court costs – an expense Davenport and Severson would like to avoid.
This evening I spotted 2 of the give-away bikes being ridden down the sidewalk. I knew they were the bikes because one w
as the boys and the other the girls and the girls still had streamers. Nice to know they are getting use.
I'm sure that's fine. They'll also need help loading bikes into trucks. I had forgot to post that they are also assembli
ng bikes on Sunday beginning at 1:00pm. I just updated the post.
