It was a great evening for our annual Halloween cruise. In attendance were Mr Ed, Fashionista Frankie, Dororty, the Tinman and Toto, Larry the mechanic/cabby, Fonzie, Witches, an hombre, Ted Nugent/Kid Rock/David Lee Roth, a bee keeper, Cookie Monster and a few other ghoulish characters.
I recently uploaded our 100th Coaster video! Celebrate this landmark and have yourself a Coasters marathon watching all 100 back-to-back. You'll find them on our YouTube channel Coasters TV (also a link on the right).
After meeting up for food and beverage at Club Billiards we rode over to Century II to see the classic silent film Phantom Of The Opera with a live soundtrack performed by Jim Riggs on Wichita's historic Wurlitzer organ. Both Mr Riggs and the organ were amazing. Following the movie we went for a night cap at the Vagabond.
Beautiful day yesterday at the Midwest Genealogical Society's October Jubilee. We had a good time showing, talking and riding the old bikes. Thanks to those who came out!
Another reason you should be subscribed to Kickstand magazine... The latest issue (9) features Coaster - Corey Conyers of Road Kandy and their custom bike Exaulted Elgin. It can be seen on the cover and is also the magazine's centerfold. Issue number 8 featured the Coasters Bicycle Club. Another Road Kandy creation was the featured bike at this year's Art Of The Bicycle.
