WOW! What a BLAST (fun and wind). And what a challenage, to come up with a design thats fun, buildable with cardboard, and rideable(let alone rideable in the high winds). There was a bunch of fun cardboard bikes that were cool. Im sure the people who seen these rolling creations were thinking "these bicycle people are crazy" and they are right (after all, if you can't be a little crazy, what can you be?), were crazy. There was some saddness, on the 3+ mile ride home, the "beer truck" was destroyed, between the high wind and bottoming out on several dips in the street to sidewalk ramps, the front end of the truck was torn off and run over by the bike, and deposited in a dumpster, Oh well, there is always next week, but I'll be riding one of my "normal" bikes. Be there. Gotta ride.
