St Patrick's Parade And Pub Pedal

Despite the cloudy, cold and windy morning a good number of people showed up to ride in the parade. We were rewarded with a sunny not-so-cold afternoon. After the parade we hit a couple of pubs starting with the Shamrock where they were serving a great, free stew. Thanks to all who participated, the Shamrock and my Mother for snapping some photos. Forgot to mention the free hot dogs. Thanks to where ever they were coming from. Also the fire trucks. What is it with pub pedals and fires? Got back to my vehicle to find it surrounded by fire trucks. A house where I had parked was on fire.

As normal we had fun time riding in the St. Pats parade. Even though it was about 40 degrees when we gathered at the staging area, we had about 40 bikes show up and ride.Then it turned into a nice sunny March day to ride to the pubs. Good times.
Also, the donations made by the Coasters Bicycle Club was greatly appreciated by the Historic Delano Parade organizers, Thank You.

This evening I spotted 2 of the give-away bikes being ridden down the sidewalk. I knew they were the bikes because one w as the boys and the other the girls and the girls still had streamers. Nice to know they are getting use.

Yes assembly will be done indoors. I believe the only time spent outdoors will be loading them into trucks.
