I am sending Get Well Wishes, Prayers, and Speedy Recovery your way! I am sorry that you had to travel so far for the surgery but you are in the best place for your surgery. The Mayo performs many miracles. The weather has been to windy and rainy to ride bikes as a group anyway so bring home the sunshine so we all can do a group ride soon.

Hello Erik, We miss you. Of course it has been too cold to ride and we miss everybody. But, its going to be spring and/or summer one of these days and we want you and yours to be there riding with us. So, beat this stuff like a stuck seatpost and get back to being Erik.
We think about you and wish you the best every day. We all need a laugh, and you can make us do that.............Oh, remember your Michael in our Thriller routine, so practice when you can, we all have been (yea right).

I'm so glad I am able to read your comments. I've had some good moments and some rough moments. Right now I just took a walk around the nurses station and I'm so tired I can't hardly keep my eyes open. I did get your card that was sent to the house and it came up here with me. I means so much to me to have you all thinking of us and wanting me to get better. My surgery was only 8 hours long and I had 8 units of blood. I guess they had some trouble, but I've coasted through that part. (get it... coasted) Anyway, thanks for the comments and I'm eager to get back on a bicycle for the Riverfest, but I'm not sure I'll have enough strength to ride even then. Would someone be able to give me a ride...lol. Talk to you all soon, Erick, Lisa and Quinn
Hey Erick-----wishing you all the best. Hang in there. Bring a bike to the parade, we can pull you with a rope if necessary! Have you heard about the gravity race ? That one will be a great one for you to MC. It will be at the old soap box derby hill sometime in June. I've built one you can ride down the hill, no power needed. Good luck & see you soon. Thad

Yes assembly will be done indoors. I believe the only time spent outdoors will be loading them into trucks.
