Sunday, September 28. 20084th Bicycle Fest Is History For the first time in four years we didn't have 30mph winds or rain. Instead this year we got heat. Despite the 88 degree temperature it was still a great time. If you missed out on a t-shirt you can still purchase one here. If you missed out on donating to the Kyle Hicks Fund you can still donate here. Thank yous... All the Coasters who donated prizes, money and time. Bill of Accent Mobile Music for providing the sound. Daron for providing and piloting the Conference Bike. "Grill Master Mitch" for the dogs and the fabulous pulled pork. Those who drove a long way like the KC guys and Bob who came all the way from Omaha, Nebraska. Everyone who donated to the Kyle Hicks Fund. Festival Winners... People's Choice Kustom: Thad People's Choice Classic: Larry & Cathy Limbo: Scott M. at 26 inches low barely beating his sister. Skid: Dan M. for the 2nd year in a row with a 2 skid combined length of 187 feet beating his win last year of 132.1 feet. Baby Save: Matt. Raffle Bike: Todd and Jodie. WHAT A GREAT TIME!!! All those cool bikes, the "Conference bike", the free food, the games (including a blowout in the longest skid contest, WOW), the great weather, the door prizes, that really COOL raffle bike, the music, and especially the PEOPLE, that made this the best MW Bike Fest yet.
A big HUGE, THANK YOU goes out the Randy and Nova, Mert and Mom, to Tara, Mitch, and our own Coasters BC MC Erick, and all of the Coasters who made this event happen. Its the people that make up the Coasters Bicycle Club that are why I want to be a part of the Coasters BC, we know how to have FUN on BIKES. Another great event well done. We miss you all and the Thursday night craziness. Winfield is great, Glenda is studying hard, I'm doing old house stuff and life is good.

I'm just getting around to this, but I wanted to thank everyone who came out and hung out or helped out with this years MWBF. The grillin' was great, the sound system was beyond my expectations with the wireless mic and it's nice clean sound too. Randy, Nova, Tara and Mom and Dad really do a great job with putting tons of effort into this and each year gets better with all the credit going to them. Good job guys. I'm glad I can help out with my gift of gab. Everyone had such a great time and we had a great turn out. Thanks again for all the helpers out there who ususally go unnamed, but are so loved any way. I'm looking forward to next year.

Yes assembly will be done indoors. I believe the only time spent outdoors will be loading them into trucks.
