A 52-year-old Wichita man riding his bicycle early Sunday morning is in critical condition after he was struck by the driver of a car who did not stop. He was taken to Via Christi-St. Francis hospital.
The only witness to the hit and run is apparently a surveillance camera which captured video of a dark-colored SUV or pick up truck at the scene. The crash happened at about 1:45am in the 1800 block of South Hydraulic.
Wichita police are asking for the public's help in finding the vehicle involved in the crash.
Anyone who may have witnessed the bicyclist being hit or who has knowledge of a vehicle fitting the description of the vehicle with damage to the front end should contact the Wichita Police Department.

Wichita Police say the 25-year-old man rode his bike to Wesley Hospital late Wednesday night. He told investigators he had been punched repeatedly by another man for getting the wrong cheeseburgers.
Investigators say the man was beat so badly that his jaw was broken and he was knocked unconcious for a short time. Police say he is being uncooperative with their investigation. No one has been arrested.
