Bicycle Competition
Schedule of Events:
Set up on Thursday, January 19 from 6 pm till 9 pm in the balcony
Viewing will be during show hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Awards ceremony will be held Saturday after model car awards – approx. 3:30 pm
Show is over at 6 pm on Sunday

We will have five classes:
- Antique Pre-1940
- Antique 1940 and Newer
- Custom
- Rat
- Best of Show

Price to enter is $20.00 for up to Four bicycles. (Additional bikes require new entry!)

The Wichita Dream Center gave away 500 bikes plus presents and food this past Saturday at their Believe In Christmas event. The Coasters participated assembling and distributing bicycles. Thanks to Ralph for these photos.

It’s a Christmas dream for many children; a new bicycle under the tree.

Now, more kids will be on two wheels... thanks in part to a local bike shop. “Bicycle X-change” has been giving away refurbished bikes to local schools for more than 10 years and this year is no different.

If you would like to attend and help out at Christmas For Wichita this Saturday, e-mail me asap your full name as you will need to be on a access list.

Today about a dozen Coasters plus many of the congregation of the Believers Tabernacle Church, assembled 500 bikes to be given away at Christmas For Wichita.


Thanks to everyone for their hard work! No help will be needed on Sunday.

The Coasters once again have been asked if we would help in assembling a few hundred new bikes that will be given to kids for Christmas. The bikes will be given away as part of the Wichita Dream Center's Christmas For Wichita.

When: This Saturday, December 10th at 8:00am and Sunday 1:00pm till whenever.
Where: Believers Tabernacle Church 2000 S. Hillside (S/E corner of Mt Vernon & Hillside).

You don't need to be mechanically inclined to volunteer. In addition to assembling bikes, help will also be needed in unboxing them, disposing of boxes etc...
It might be a good idea to bring a few tools of your own.

From what I've heard this is a fun time and you leave with a warm fuzzy feeling.

The bikes will be given away at Century II on Saturday the 17th which you are invited to attend..
