News and Info on the Kustom/Classic Bicycle Scene and Casual Cycling in the Wichita area
The "Pub Pedal" is Not about alcohol.
It's about socializing and riding with like minded bicycle enthusiasts.
Thursday nights (weather permitting) area bike enthusiasts meet at the Shamrock Lounge 1724 W Douglas Ave 7:00pm (or so). From there the group rides Eastward stopping at other establishments along the way. Anyone is welcome to ride but you must be 21 to enter most establishments. All types of bikes and bikers are welcome. There is probably more socializing than riding so don't worry if you are not in the best riding shape. Some people ride from home while others haul their bikes to somewhere near the start. Head and tail lights are a must!. This ride is not affiliated with any one particular group or organization.

Beautiful evening for our 5th annual Christmas Lights Cruise. 30 riders showed up for our ride to the Lights On St Paul. Santa even joined us this year on his custom lowrider trike. After viewing the lights, some went pub pedaling and others went to Braums. Photos here. There were a lot of wonderfully decorated bikes and the photos don't do them justice.

It was a great evening for our annual Halloween cruise. In attendance were Mr Ed, Fashionista Frankie, Dororty, the Tinman and Toto, Larry the mechanic/cabby, Fonzie, Witches, an hombre, Ted Nugent/Kid Rock/David Lee Roth, a bee keeper, Cookie Monster and a few other ghoulish characters.
This evening I spotted 2 of the give-away bikes being ridden down the sidewalk. I knew they were the bikes because one w
as the boys and the other the girls and the girls still had streamers. Nice to know they are getting use.
I'm sure that's fine. They'll also need help loading bikes into trucks. I had forgot to post that they are also assembli
ng bikes on Sunday beginning at 1:00pm. I just updated the post.
