News and Info on the Kustom/Classic Bicycle Scene and Casual Cycling in the Wichita area
Beautiful evening for our 5th annual Christmas Lights Cruise. 30 riders showed up for our ride to the Lights On St Paul. Santa even joined us this year on his custom lowrider trike. After viewing the lights, some went pub pedaling and others went to Braums. Photos here. There were a lot of wonderfully decorated bikes and the photos don't do them justice.
It was a beautiful day and a good turn out for the first Toys For Tots Bike Ride put on by Lee's Bike Shop. Carrying our toy donations we rode from Exploration Place up to Sedgwick County Park where we dropped off our donations, had cookies, hot chocolate and mingled with the group. Afterwards a few of us Coasters headed back to Exploration Place, changing a tube, nursing slow leaks and fixing wheels along the way.
It was a great evening for our annual Halloween cruise. In attendance were Mr Ed, Fashionista Frankie, Dororty, the Tinman and Toto, Larry the mechanic/cabby, Fonzie, Witches, an hombre, Ted Nugent/Kid Rock/David Lee Roth, a bee keeper, Cookie Monster and a few other ghoulish characters.
